Claims Management System

Claims management platform

The RC Technologies Claims Management System runs the motor claim from the first assessment to the collected vehicle, with assessors, moderators, insurers and repairers working from one live record.

Most motor claims still move between spreadsheets, email threads and phone calls: the assessor has one version, the repairer another, and the insurer finds out what happened when the invoice arrives. The Claims Management System puts the whole claim in one place, and every person on it sees the same, current picture.

Assessors and moderators work from queues that say what needs doing next. Insurers see every claim, repairer and cost as it happens, not at month end. Repairers quote, repair and hand the vehicle back on the claim itself. The reporting your business runs on, from daily exceptions to final costings and CSI, comes straight out of the work.

Features

Everything a claim needs, from intake to collection

Assessments and search

Capture the claim once, attach the assessment, and find any claim again in seconds by claim, vehicle or repairer.

Moderation queues

To moderate, awaiting quote, awaiting authorisation and write-off watch. Every claim sits in the queue that says what happens next.

Live work dashboards

Allocations, pending assessments, authorised claims, repairs in progress and vehicles awaiting collection, each with a live count.

Repairer network

Manage your approved repairers, insurers and regions, and rate repairers on the work they deliver.

Car rental tracking

See every active rental against its claim, so hire days don't run on unnoticed while the vehicle is in repair.

Complaints and CSI

Log complaints against the claim and track customer satisfaction per repairer, month by month.

Assessment fees

Invoice assessment fees from the claims themselves and produce the bordereaux your insurers expect.

Reports

Daily, exception, closed-claim, final-costing, moderator, CSI and weekly update reports, ready when you need them.

Documents on the claim

Photos, quotes, authorisations and reports stored with the assessment they belong to, not in someone's inbox.

How it works

How a claim moves through the system

  1. Assess

The claim is registered and allocated, and the assessor captures the damage and documents.

  2. Moderate

Moderators review the assessment, watch for write-offs and send it for quoting.

  3. Quote and authorise

The repairer quotes; the quote is checked and authorised on the claim.

  4. Repair

Progress is tracked while the vehicle is in the workshop, with rentals and complaints alongside.

  5. Collect and close

The vehicle is collected, final costs are recorded and the claim is closed and reported.

FAQ

Questions about Claims Management System

Who uses the Claims Management System?

Insurers, assessing companies, moderators and approved repairers. Each works from the same claim, with the queues, dashboards and reports that fit their role.

Is it built for South Africa?

Yes. It is built and supported in South Africa around the local motor claims process, including approved repairer (MBR) networks, regions, assessment fees, write-offs and customer-satisfaction reporting.

Can repairers work on the claim?

Yes. Repairers can work in the Claims Management System directly, or in the My Bodyshop System, which exchanges claims, status updates and documents with it automatically.

Does it connect to our other systems?

The Claims Management System has an API and already exchanges data with insurer systems, accounting and email. Tell us what you use and we'll show you how it connects.

How is the Claims Management System priced?

Pricing follows your assessment volume, so the cost grows with the work. Book a demo and we'll give you a quote for your volumes.
